The Arkansas C3 Hub is an ongoing effort to build inquiry materials in support of Arkansas social studies standards. This work is being lead by the Arkansas Teacher Collaborative Council made up of teacher leaders around the state.
Sunshine and Inquiry. The Florida C3 Hub provides social studies teachers with a reliable source of rigorous inquiry plans that are aligned to Florida state standards. The inquiry lessons you’ll find on the Florida Hub are built by teachers for teachers. We’re working hard to add more to the collection so check back often.
Teachers in Cobb County, Georgia have been examining the C3 Framework and Inquiry Design Model developing a deeper understanding of how to implement disciplinary inquiry in their classrooms and creating new inquiries to share across the system.
The Hawaii C3 Hub is leading the way in developing C3 Framework related curriculum and instructional materials. The Hawaii Hub includes a collection of professional development materials, but that’s just the beginning.
The Illinois C3 Hub is designed to support the teachers of Illinois in their C3 journey with rigorous inquiry-based instructional materials, detailed resources, and opportunities for teachers to find support from one another. All of the inquires on the Illinois Hub are created by Illinois teachers for Illinois teachers, using the C3 Framework and the Illinois Learning Standards for Social Studies. Below you’ll find inquiries developed teachers in districts around the state as well as, stories from the classroom, and other resources you can use to bring inquiry into your classroom.
The Kansas C3 Hub is a community of educators whose goal is to develop resources that will aid in the implementation of inquiry-based instruction in the state’s social studies classes.

The New York C3 Hub provides access to the New York Social Studies Toolkit, an amazing collection of resources supported by the New York State Department of Education. In the New York Hub you’ll find 84 inquiries distributed across all grade levels, a conceptual foundations essay describing the 10 assumptions guiding the Toolkit, as well as professional development materials for learning more about the project.
The North Carolina Hub is where inquiry takes flight. Teachers in Winston-Salem Forsyth Schools started working with the Inquiry Design Model in 2014 and continue their work today. See the inquiries and learn more about the great work going on in North Carolina below. Nothing could be finer!

The Virginia C3 Hub provides access to a wide range of sources for using inquiry in the classroom. Teachers in Fairfax County have taken the lead to develop new inquiry materials, and Virginia has a rich tradition of inquiry. The Korean War Legacy Hub is a collaboration with C3 Teachers and the Korean War Legacy Foundation. The project offers a wide range of teaching materials to help students learn more about the Korean War and its aftermath. Our collection of teaching tools feature instructional inquiries and the dynamic Memory Bank, consisting of online book about the Korean War and aftermath along with an interactive library of Korean War veteran interviews, maps, and related primary sources.
